Creating fine artistry in firearms is a specialized and demanding task. To accomplish this task with distinction, the Studio has assembled a group of artisans without peer. Members of the Ruger Studio team have been selected based upon their artistic style, ability to work with the tough metals used in Ruger firearms, and passion for excellence in firearms artistry.

Engravers Rob Bunting and Heidi Roos have between them more than 60 years of experience in the metal arts. Both Rob and Heidi have been with the Studio since its inception in 2002 and are well-versed in all engraving styles, from scrollwork and gold inlay to carved relief.

As a pledge of commitment to quality and the client, the engraver permanently impresses their signature into each Studio firearm. No product is presented to the client unless it meets the Studio’s highest standards.
