The M77® Hawkeye® African features a slim American walnut stock with red rubber recoil pad, rugged V-notch sights and a 23" hammer-forged barrel featuring a matte blue finish. The African also houses other standard M77® Hawkeye® features including the new LC6™ trigger, Mauser-type controlled feed extractor, positive floor plate latch, three-position safety, integral scope mount and free scope rings (an $80 value).

AMERICAN WALNUT STOCK
Newly designed, slimmer walnut stock has wrap-around checkering on the foregrip. This ergonomically pleasing stock has more rounded contours along the barrel, on the bottom of the stock, and on the top of the pistol grip. This stock also features an all-new red rubber recoil pad with the Ruger logo, designed to absorb the most punishing recoil.

STEEL FLOOR PLATE
The steel floor plate, with the Ruger Logo, has a patented floor plate latch for easy unloading without having to chamber each cartridge. The patented design eliminates accidental release or "dumping" of your ammunition.

V-NOTCH SIGHTS
The rugged V-notch windage adjustable "express style" iron rear and large white bead front sights help shooters achieve fast, reliable target acquisition.
