Custom Shop 10/22®

               

Up for auction this week is a Ruger® Custom Shop 10/22® Competition rifle. Ruger’s records reflect this rifle was roll marked April 5, 2018. This rifle was a sales sample prototype as evidenced by the standard 10/22 serial number and not a "CS" prefix normally found on 10/22 Custom Shop rifles. It was also a Sales & Marketing photography sample, was never sold, and has never been fired beyond normal testing during manufacture. This Custom Shop model was introduced in March 2019 and is a current production item. It has a natural brown laminate stock that features a fully adjustable cheek rest. The 16.12-inch, cold hammer-forged steel bull barrel is fluted and threaded with a 1/2"–28 pattern to accommodate the included muzzle brake or other barrel accessories. It also features an integral, optics-ready 30 MOA Picatinny rail and BX-Trigger® that has a light, crisp 2.5 – 3 pound trigger pull weight. The rifle has been stored in its original black plastic rifle case along with an appropriate instruction manual, 10-round rotary magazine, and locking device.

 

High-Gloss Ruger Vaquero®

               

Our auction item this week is a high-gloss stainless Ruger Vaquero® 45 COLT caliber single-action revolver. Ruger's records reflect this revolver was roll marked September 14, 2012. The revolver is a sales sample, was never sold and has not been fired beyond normal factory test firing. This revolver has a traditional western-style, hand-filling grip with birdshead black/brown laminate grip panels and Ruger eagle logo medallions inlaid in the grips. Other features include a 3-3/4-inch cold hammer-forged barrel with blade front and integral rear sights. The 6-round cylinder is chambered in 45 COLT. The revolver has been stored in its original gray plastic handgun case along with an original instruction manual, marketing materials, and locking device and is being sold "as is."
