Team Ruger Builds on 2025 Momentum

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) is proud to report continued success for Team Ruger, with strong showings across multiple events in April.

Dave Olhasso and James McGinty continue to dominate the competition across all categories, showcasing the reliability and accuracy of the full Ruger product line. The duo kicked off their run at the Maryland State IDPA match held in Lexington Park, MD, where Olhasso secured the top spot in the Stock Service Pistol division while McGinty captured a first place win in the Compact Carry Pistol division and first overall. Both competed with the new RXM™ pistol in 9mm Luger.

Their competitive run continued at the Harvard Steel Smashers event held at the Harvard Sportsmen's Club in Harvard, Massachusetts. Olhasso delivered a standout performance, earning a first place win in the Stock Revolver division and a second place win in the Open Revolver division shooting his Ruger Custom Shop Super GP100® revolvers. He also took home first place in the Stock Auto Unlimited division and the PCC Iron Sight division using his RXM pistol and PC Carbine™, respectively. Additionally, McGinty walked away with first place wins in the Open Auto and Open Auto Unlimited divisions, as well as a second place win in the Stock Auto division, competing with his RXM pistol in all three events. In the PCC Open division, McGinty claimed second place with his PC Carbine.

Meanwhile, teammate Lauryl Akenhead stepped up at the Koenig-Ruger Precision Rifle match, hosted by Team Ruger Captain Doug Koenig and Koenig Shooting Sports at the impressive Cameo Shooting and Education Complex in Grand Junction, Colorado. Akenhead delivered another strong performance, earning first place in the Production division and claiming High Lady honors, shooting her Custom Shop Ruger Precision® Rifle chambered in 6mm GT.
