Bearcat® with Gold-Colored Highlights

               

Our auction item this week is a Ruger® Bearcat® single-action revolver. Ruger's records reflect this revolver was roll marked October 27, 2011. The revolver is a Sales Sample, was never sold, and has never been fired beyond normal factory test firing. This blued revolver features classic styling and a one-piece frame reminiscent of Civil War-era Remington revolvers. Ruger eagle logo medallions are inlaid in the wood grips. Other features include a 4.2-inch cold hammer-forged barrel with blade front and integral notch rear sights. The 6-round cylinder is chambered in .22 Long Rifle. This sales sample also features gold-colored highlights in the decorative bear and cougar design on the cylinder as well as the serial number and other stampings on the revolver. The revolver has been stored in its original gray plastic handgun case along with an extra .22 Long Rifle cylinder (without the gold-coloring) original instruction manual, marketing materials, and locking device.

 

Redhawk® in .44 Mag

               

This week's auction item is a Ruger Redhawk revolver in .44 Remington Magnum caliber. Ruger's records reflect this revolver was roll marked February 10, 2015. The revolver is a Sales Sample, was never sold, and has never been fired beyond normal factory test firing. This model Redhawk double-action revolver has a 6-round capacity cylinder. The cylinder frame, trigger guard, and barrel are made of stainless steel featuring a flat black finish. Other features include a 2.75-inch barrel and hardwood grip panels with silver-colored Ruger eagle logo medallions. The revolver has a steel rear sight adjustable for windage and elevation with a white outline square notch blade as well as a traditional ramp front sight base with a red plastic insert. The revolver has been stored in its original gray plastic handgun case along with an original instruction manual, marketing materials, and locking device.
