This week's auction item is a Ruger® Mini Thirty® in 7.62x39. This model was introduced in December 2016 and is a current production item. Ruger's records reflect this rifle was roll marked May 24, 2021. The rifle was never sold and has never been fired beyond normal testing during manufacture. This rifle was one of Ruger's Sales & Marketing photography samples. The Mini Thirty® has a black synthetic stock. The 16.12-inch stainless steel barrel has a matte stainless finish and features a blade front sight and adjustable rear sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting the included Picatinny rail. This rifle has been stored in its original rifle box along with an original instruction manual, two 20-round magazines, scope rings, and locking device.
This week's auction item is a Ruger SP101® revolver in .357 Magnum caliber. Ruger's records reflect this revolver was roll marked December 13, 2010. The revolver is a Sales Sample, was never sold, and has never been fired beyond normal factory test firing. This model SP101® double-action revolver has a 5-round capacity cylinder, is satin-polished stainless steel with a 3-inch barrel. It features a cushioned rubber grip with engraved hard wood inserts. Other features include a pinned, replaceable black ramp front sight and integral rear sight. The revolver has been stored in its original gray plastic handgun case along with an original instruction manual, marketing materials, and locking device.
