In this new configuration, the RPR will be offered in three popular competition calibers – 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .308 Winchester; as well as three magnum calibers – .300 Win Mag, .300 PRC and .338 Lapua Mag. In addition, the Ruger Precision Rifle will be offered by the Ruger Custom Shop® - chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, 6mm Creedmoor and 6mm GT. Custom Shop rifles feature: an adjustable TriggerTech Two-Stage Trigger, a stainless steel, heavy contour barrel with installed muzzle brake to aid in felt recoil reduction; a barricade stop on the front of the magazine; and a gray Cerakote coating on the magazine well, handguard, and stock body. Ruger's Custom Shop is also introducing two new 10/22 rifles fitted into a chassis manufactured by Grey Birch and featuring a tensioned barrel with a carbon fiber sleeve and BX-Trigger. They have identical features with one for right-handed shooters and one for left-handed shooters. The high-end Grey Birch chassis is adjustable for length of pull and comb height and folds for easy transport. The 10" forend features M-LOK slots and has an Arca-Swiss rail under the forend. This new rifle has earned the distinction of being the lightest 10/22 in the Ruger line. Weighing in at a mere 3.5 lbs., this rifle sports a 16.1" cold hammer-forged tensioned barrel with a carbon fiber sleeve. In addition to the reduction in weight, the stainless steel tensioned barrel is more rigid, reducing vibration, and is threaded 1/2"-28 for the addition of muzzle devices. The tough but lightweight Magpul MOE X-22 stock is painted black and features a textured splatter paint for an improved grip in even the worst weather conditions, while complimenting the aesthetics of the rifle. Chambered for the popular .22 LR, both models are feature-rich and sport a 4.40" threaded cold-hammer forged barrel, adjustable sights, a Picatinny rail and an ambidextrous manual safety. The receiver is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and is ventilated and lightweight. One pistol features a black receiver, black grip panels, gold trigger and a gold barrel for a look of understated elegance. Generation II Predator models feature a durable, Burnt Bronze Cerakote barreled action and an attractive green stock textured with black and bronze splatter for excellent grip and control in the field. The longer 22" medium contour, cold hammer-forged barrel features deep spiral fluting on most models, improving the balance of the rifle without sacrificing rigidity or accuracy. The .45 Auto version features an updated right- and left-hand bolt release, octagonal handguard, reversible magazine release and is compatible with most off-the-shelf, Glock-pattern, .45 Auto magazines. The LC Carbine features an aluminum free-float handguard with M-LOK attachment slots, QD attachment points for slings, and a full-length Picatinny rail for AR-height optics. Reminiscent of classic side-folding Mini-14 rifles originally produced in the mid-1970s. The walnut stock features a stainless side-folder made from original Ruger casting tooling and an injection molded polymer pistol grip. The threaded 18.5" matte stainless steel barrel is fitted with a factory-installed 1/2"-28 flash suppressor. Updated to compliment the side-folding stock, this model features 1" sling loops located on the left side of the new gas block and the rear of the stock.
