Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR), the nation's largest firearms manufacturer, is proud to announce the launch of its new website, which incorporates many new features and more in-depth information about the Company and its products.
"The new website has many exciting, enhanced features, including more detailed product information, more product images and much easier and quicker navigation," stated Bruce Healey, Sturm, Ruger's Chief Information Officer. "The prior website, which was launched in 2003, hosted over 4 million visitors per year. We expect that with the launch of this new lighter and brighter website and the additional information now available to our customers, the number of visitors will continue to grow and certainly exceed what we've seen in the last few years."
The new Ruger website, located at www.ruger.com, uses the latest technology to build upon the successes of the old site, offering improved navigability to key products, offering keyword search capability, and more descriptive content, ranging from basic firearms concepts to detailed Ruger product information. Additional product images have been added to the site, and all have been greatly enlarged and are shown to exact scale for comparisons between products.
