Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE-RGR) has been presented with the Firearms Manufacturer of the Year award by the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers for the second year in a row. The award was presented during the Association's 35th Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. The criteria for the awards are based on areas of the manufacturer's performance which enable the wholesaler to provide efficient and effective service in the marketplace.
"We are greatly honored with being named Manufacturer of the Year two years running and appreciate the significance of receiving this recognition in today's competitive business environment," stated Mike Fifer, Ruger CEO. "At Ruger we strive very hard to meet the needs of our customers, the wholesalers.
