Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE-RGR) is proud to introduce two Ruger New Vaquero® single-action revolvers with Bisley grip frames. This latest version of the Ruger New Vaquero is in response to requests from single-action shooters and cowboy action competitors.
The two new Bisley New Vaquero revolvers are available in stainless steel with a high-gloss finish, simulated ivory grips and Bisley hammer and trigger. The revolvers, one chambered in .357 Magnum and .the other in 45 Colt, both feature 5-1/2 inch barrels for an overall length of 11-1/8 inches and a weight of 45 ounces.
Like all Ruger New Vaquero revolvers, these are built on a mid-sized steel frame designed to offer the original "Old West" single-action look, size and feel. They have a patented Ruger reverse indexing pawl, which positively aligns the cylinder with the loading gate cutout for easy loading and unloading of cartridges. A beveled cylinder offers easier holstering and a larger crescent-shaped ejector rod head in traditional form makes the New Vaquero one of the most user-friendly single-action revolvers on the market.
All Ruger New Vaquero revolvers incorporate a smaller cylinder frame with a unique reverse indexing pawl, which positively aligns the cylinder with the loading gate cutout for easy loading and unloading of cartridges. The Bisley New Vaquero also features a re-contoured hammer with the new Vaquero hammer spring for the smoothest, easiest cocking Vaquero ever.
