Ruger Donates to Wounded Warrior Outdoors with Proceeds from GunBroker Auction

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) is proud to announce that it has donated to Wounded Warrior Outdoors (WWO), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing outdoor adventure experiences to wounded servicemen and women. The $30,000 donation was raised through auctions on GunBroker.com.

Ruger has supported WWO since 2014 through monetary donations, as well as co-hosting events with the organization. Ruger's donations over the years have contributed to WWO's purchase of trackchairs and its ability to fund many adventures for our wounded veterans. Today's generous donation from Ruger will completely cover adventures for six veterans.

Since 2010, Ruger has worked with the popular firearms auction website GunBroker.com to auction off rare, unusual, discontinued or one-of-a-kind RugerĀ® firearms. All proceeds from these auctions are donated to various charities, with over $800,000 raised and donated over the last decade.

This year's auctions included a Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan®, a Ruger Redhawk® and a distributor exclusive Ruger Hawkeye® African rifle, among others.
