In February of 2018, Ruger® announced the "Team Ruger" professional shooting team - a first competitive entry for the Company into the shooting sports arena. The almost 70-year wait was well worth it, with the announcement of Team Captain, Doug Koenig, at the helm along with four well-respected and diverse team members. Since then, the team has grown as have their successes. With each competition, Team Ruger is proving that Ruger firearms are not only rugged and reliable, but they are competition-ready out of the box.

Team Ruger members are both ambassadors for our great products and real-world experts helping us develop our product line. From IDPA to SASS, ICORE to PRS and USPSA, Ruger products are being put to the test and improved upon to become custom level, competition-ready firearms.
