Gordon Carrell

Team Ruger member Gordon Carrell loves the outdoors, shooting sports and helping others learn and improve. Gordon discovered shooting in his 30s after a lifetime of football, rock climbing, hiking, hunting and fishing with his dad and brothers. After a few months of shooting static targets on an indoor range, Gordon discovered IDPA and his love for competitive shooting began. He enjoys shooting USPSA, ICORE, Steel Challenge, SASS and Wild Bunch. In 2004, Gordon started GLC Shooting Academy to help others improve their shooting skills and grow the sport. His unique understanding of time, movement and efficiency has led Gordon to win National, State, Regional and Special Event titles on three different continents.
